Tropical Fruit Sorbet

This sudden cold snap is making long for warmer weather and longer days and this beautiful sorbet taste just like Summer!



Ingredients:

  • 1 500g bag of frozen Tropical Fruit Blend (I used President’s Choice)

  • 3 – 5 tbsp sugar syrup, clear corn syrup or agave nectar, maple syrup (to keep it refined sugar free) or orange juice (if you prefer less sweet)

  • lemon juice optional



How To Prepare:

  1. Place fruit in a food processor or ice crushing blender.

  2. Pulse to crush the fruits into small pieces and add the simple syrup, a tablespoon at a time (while pulsing) to create a smooth sorbet-like paste.

  3. Add a bit of lemon juice and run the blender for a few seconds to mix.

  4. Spoon it into a bowl and serve immediately – or store in the freezer until you’re ready.
